Sometimes as a film journalist I like to stray away from my HDTV experience, and watch my dvds in an oldschool manner. Dorcel's films always seem to look, and sound brilliant no matter what TV I choose to view them on, and Herve Bodilis's latest contribution to the "Russian Institute" series is no exception.

About the Dorcel Magazine Bonus DVDs ...
It has been brought to my attention by a fellow Twitter follower, and blog reader that the dvds offered with each Dorcel Magazine are not exactly as "straightforward" as I had initially thought they were. I had assumed (We all know what assumed does - "It makes an ass out of you & me") that the dvds were readily playable like those you'd find in such adult publications as the FOX adult magazine available here in the states. With time constraints from expected reviews I've never really had the time to test out these bonus dvds, and never really thought that they would activate in the manner that they did. Adult Comic Book Art ...
Recently I had the privilege to work with an indie game developer on a very special game review & interview. Ben Ferrara of Nocturnal Studios surprised me by letting me know that aside from his game developing career he had also worked with various artists to produce some comic books which were based on classic porn films. Among these were spin-offs on "Debbie Does Dallas", "Deep Throat", "Candy Stripers", "Johnny Wad", and "The Devil In Miss Jones". Anyone who follows porn will have likely heard of these famous porn titles. I'm here today to share some of the adult comic book art which captures the essence of these previously mentioned adult films. At times the footage, and outlines of the performer's bodies looked pixelated giving the video a less than HD appearance. At other times, during the main focal points, the video actually looked professionally edited though. All of the scenes shown were displayed in a widescreen ratio that in no way took away from the overall viewing experience.
