AUDIO/VIDEO: This dvd presentation is of the highest quality throughout it's entirety. I'd say that if it isn't HD (High Definition) it's damn close. The audio presented is excellent as always, and seems to have a digitally mastered quality about it. As with any Marc Dorcel dvd you'll also find audio options that will allow you to listen to the dialogue in different languages including English. Subtitles can also be adjusted according to the desired language. The visuals on the other hand are exceptional as well. The color is vivid, and the minute physical details of each performer shown can be seen with little strain on the eyes. Each scene is displayed in a widescreen ratio that in no way takes away from the viewing experience.

Very rarely in the adult film industry will you find an amazing gem of a production like the one that is "l'innocente: The Ingenuous". The presentation is vividly surreal, and somewhat theatrical in nature. As usual the directors behind this feature (Max Candy & Michael Ninn) have gone out of their way to bring to you a cast of the loveliest ladies, and most handsome gentlemen imaginable. At the heart of this sexual fairytale though is a waitress named Sarah (Anna Polina) whose life has become rather mundane in nature. By chance this beautiful Cinderella is given an invitation that will forever change her life. After accepting a sexy stranger's invitation Sarah finds herself in the midst of a fantasy made reality. Her once mediocre existence is turned around when a mistress by the name of Anissa shows her a world she had never dreamed existed. This world inside a mansion soon becomes the object of Sarah's desires, and shortly after the chance encounter begins our fairytale princess finds that she has inherited a truly wealthy legacy. In the end she passes it on just has her mentor Anissa had done, and the sexy fairytale begins anew as another girl who is down on her luck is given a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Anna Polina leads the elegant ensemble of ladies, and gentlemen who make up the film's cast through a visual storytelling adventure. As usual you'll find that the story being told is in fact narrated in first person by Sarah (Anna Polina) herself. As she weaves her tale of intrigue, and sexual desire each encounter she describes comes to life in a theatrical and musical arrangement that is not unlike a symphony orchestra. Montages of sex, and music are presented together in a manner that is different from any pornographic film you have likely ever seen. If William Shakespeare were to write a pornographic play this film would be something like that.

The handful of sex scenes included in this feature presentation varied in their visual content, and often times wavered between the fantasy situations that the character Sarah described as well as the reality which she had found herself to be a part of. Often times Anna Polina, the performer who played the role of Sarah would be the main focus of the scene whether it was sexual in nature, or merely part of the dialogue driven narrations. Tarra White played the secondary role of a red haired mistress who had invited Sarah (Anna Polina) to the mansion for her life changing event. This female mistress is known as "Anissa" in the film. Both leading ladies played dominant roles in this story of sexual submission. Among the sex scenes that were included was a magical lesbian foursome in which Sarah (Anna Polina) had fantasized about joining three half naked forest nymphs for some sultry female on female sex. Each nymph's hair was adorned with colorful feathers, and flowers making the scene seem delightfully mystical. Even the lighting used in this scene added to the otherworldly nature of it.

Another notable scene included is the sexual piano instructional that comes compliments of the mistress Anissa. This particular scene began with Anissa (Tarra White) instructing Sarah (Anna Polina) on how to get the feel for using the piano keys. She basically guided Sarah's (Anna Polina's) fingers across the keys in a slow sensual manner ending the tutorial shortly afterwards by sucking on Sarah's (Anna Polina's) fingers. If I were to compare this to any movie moment it would be that of the ever famous "Ghost" scene where Patrick Swayze was instructing Demi Moore on how to make a clay pot. The only difference here being the subject matter, and the fact that it was a girl on girl scene. After Anissa, and her pupil Sarah get rudely interrupted by another of the house's female residence the twosome quickly becomes a threesome. As you can likely guess there's a lot of heavy petting that goes on during this ordeal including plenty of finger banging, and sensual licking.

The highlight of this film for me would have to be the final orgy scene. While the girl on girl moments were exceptional it was nice to see some men contribute to the action. The final orgy played out in what I'd describe as a cult-like masquerade. Some of the ladies were wearing robes, and porcelain masks while the main participants were adorned with fancy lingerie, and undergarments. There were beds placed in the middle of the room in which the orgy took place, so that the persons involved could have a proper place to have sex. Like any true orgy the focus was all over the place. The cameraman switched focus from Sarah (Anna Polina) sucking on a man's swollen member to Anissa (Tarra White) who was walking around the room assisting in any way she could. Other lesser known performers also contributed to the sexual arrangement often times switching partners, and participating in small group oriented sex. In the end the scene focused on a small group of remaining participants that included Sarah (Anna Polina), Anissa (Tarra White), and some other girls that are newer to the Dorcel films. Each remaining girl waited anxiously for the men to spill their seed upon their faces, breasts, and mouths. The final cumshot was a group one in which Sarah (Anna Polina), and another brunette took a shot to the face. Anna Polina, being the stand-up performer that she is sucked off the man's cock one last time before the final outro.

In closing we catch a familiar scene in which the character Sarah (Anna Polina) narrates her tale, repeating the same lines that she had previously spoken pertaining to her random encounter with Anissa (Tarra White). The camera focuses on a girl sporting a similar outfit as Sarah's (Anna Polina's) as she sat in the exact same spot as the character Sarah had sat. The camera switches focus between the story telling of Anna Polina's character to the image of the girl sitting on the steps, and back to a familiar pair of lady's legs walking in the girl's direction. It isn't until the camera pans out later on that we se the walking lady isn't Anissa (Tarra White), but that it is Sarah (Anna Polina) instead. This odd, and fantastical ending leaves you wondering what just happened. As such the film is left to the viewer's interpretation. I for one like to think that the character Sarah finally got the life she dreamed of, and that she no longer has to serve unworthy customers at a restaurant. I'd also like to think that perhaps she is out there doing the good deed sharing her experience, and wealth with the less unfortunate (aka, the sitting girl). You of course can come to any conclusion you like though.

CONCLUSION

l'innocente: The Ingenuous is a masterful sexual fairytale that is expertly told. The directors of this superb film incorporated all the elements that make a movie great as well as those that make a porn production sexy. If there is a high class level of porn this dvd would definitely fall into that category. Not only were the cast regal in appearance, but everything about the film from the cinematics to the various locales all presented a luxurious quality that you often don't associate with porn. As I said earlier I lovingly compare this film to a Shakespearean play, and it is definitely deserving of such a critique. I think Anna Polina did an outstanding job as usual. Her performance, and her narrative parts both played out in a professional manner. I also found that Anissa Kate, and Tarra White played some very impressive roles as well. All of the ladies, and gentlemen in this film were exceptionally beautiful. I'd expect nothing less from any film associated with Marc Dorcel's studio. I tip my hat to Michael Ninn, and Max Candy for their amazing work. I hope that they join together again sometime in the near future to produce another masterpiece like this one!
