AUDIO/VIDEO:The audio is very clear, and needs little adjustment in order to be heard. I would say you might be careful with the volume if you don't want your significant other not to know you're watching, but the sex scenes do not feature audible orgasms. Instead they are replaced by music tracks reminiscent of the WWII time period. As far as video goes it is displayed in a widescreen ratio, and seems to be of HD (High Definition) quality. Overall it's a spectacular presentation that works quite well.

SYNOPSIS

Marcus Dolby is a very impressive director in many ways. In this film he brings to light the subject of a certain brothel, and the war time sex therein. The film itself is filled with some of the most handsome gentlemen, and most stunningly beautiful ladies that have ever graced the porn industry. Everything from hairstyles to clothing were all replicated to reflect the war time scenario that the film has portrayed. Even the lighting, and music corresponded to such a time period. Using an intro, and production style similar to the Hollywood movies of today Marcus Dolby breathed life into this lustful war time tale of a Madame, and her sultry female subjects. The sex was thorough throughout, and in an odd way seemed like a silent film as Marcus opted to withhold the grunts, and growns of ecstasy within each sexual encounter. He replaced the audio content with music befitting of the time period, and the situations making this dvd production one of the more elegant finds in the Marc Dorcel dvd library.

Within this dvd presentation you will be greeted by a worthy background story (assuming you can interpret French) that is told through the perspective of the "Cathouse '45" Madame. The Madame of this particular brothel demonstrates through her actions the processes involved in running such a business as well as engages in some sex acts with he various clients. During the 2 hours that the dvd has to offer you'll see ladies of the brothel entertain soldiers, and clients of the different locales they stay at. All of the girls engage in mostly standard sex positions (doggystyle, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, ...) occasionally participating in some mutual foreplay as well. Group oriented sex also occurs during a couple of the scenes. Unlike most scene-by-scene porn though this dvd was directed as if it were a movie giving you a plot, and allowing you see each sexual encounter play out in full length as it happens. It's like having your cake, and eating it too in that sense.

As far as the ladies go they are all dolled up as if they were living in the 40's. Each and every hairstyle was elegantly done, and the dresses (or lack there of) only made them look more sexy. Guys who love the dark haired girls will definitely get your fill during your viewing of this film. While the brunettes do seem to be the dominating force in the film, blondes are also equally as present adding a nice selection of both types to the mix. The Madame herself is a very lovely blonde haired lady who could easily be described as a milf. One thing I really liked about the cast was the fact that the ladies all looked as if they were physically from the time period they were portraying. Their skin wasn't flawless like the ladies of modern day porn. It added a nice feel of realism that only enhanced the viewing pleasure.

CONCLUSION

I'm a huge fan of Marc Dorcel military based porn. Ever since I reviewed Max Candy's "Inglorious Bitches" I've become a hardcore fan of the genre. There's nothing quite like seeing women dressed up like they were back in the days of WWII. In my opinion they looked extremely attractive back then.When it comes to the portrayal of such women you don't often see things like that in US porn productions. It's a sad thing, but at least Marc Dorcel does offer region free dvds with such lovely ladies in them. As far as this dvd goes it was the first Marcus Dolby dvd I have reviewed. I was seriously impressed by his directing style, and his choice to leave out the audible orgasms. While I do love to hear the ladies during sex it was a nice change to be able to actually focus more on their appearance, and what they were doing. The added time period music during such scenes also enhanced the pleasurable experience. In retrospect I think this was actually one of the best Marc Dorcel dvds I've reviewed this year. The most awesome thing about that is that this particular dvd is currently on sale online (66%) off. I strongly suggest that you get this one while the getting is good. Like I mentioned before it is region free, so even my fellow United States readers can enjoy it.
