AUDIO/VIDEO: The audio in this dvd set seemed to be set a little lower than in a lot of other dvds I've reviewed. I had to adjust the volume about halfway on my television to be able to hear the dialogue properly. As far as video quality goes it didn't really seem like HD to me. The intro looked really grainy for some reason, and the rest of the film had some odd textures to it as well.

SYNOPSIS

As with any porn parody you'll find these days "Birds of Prey XXX" merely borrows a basic plot from the source material the feature is about. Staying true to the DC Comics characters involved, Sinister Comixxx has brought to the table a lust driven tale about the daughters of some of Gotham City's most well known superheroes, and villains. As the title of the film suggests this parody follows the story arc of the three female superheroes who make up the "Birds of Prey" team. Leading the group of super sexy heroes is none other than "Oracle" who is portrayed by the very lovely, and talented adult film star, Brooklyn Lee. Next up is Batman's own daughter "The Huntress" who is well represented by the glamorous Gracie Glam. Last, but most certainly not least is "Black Canary", who is played by the sultry Kagney Linn Karter. Each girl/superhero has her own unique abilities with which to fight crime, and dish out the much needed justice that Gotham City so desperately needs.

On the opposite end of the spectrum there is a group of somewhat less impressive she-villains who are out to stop the "Birds of Prey". Leading this group of devious debutantes is Dr. Harleen Quinzel (Chanel Preston), and her seemingly powerless sidekick Alyce Sinner (Alexis Texas). After getting fed up with the disruptions of their nemesis, these bad girls devise a plan involving Ra's Al Ghul's daughter, Talia Al Ghul (Lizzy Borden). As the plan unfolds through many different twists, and turns it becomes more apparent that Talia has some ulterior motives. Eventually each, and every superhero/villain involved will come to know Talia's deception first hand.

THE SEX

Fans of the comic book series will be glad to know that there are several noteworthy sex scenes involving some of DC Comic's sexiest, and most interesting characters in this film. The scene where the Oracle has a very intimate, and believable sexual encounter with a fellow cop (Tommy Gunn) is definitely my favorite. Keeping true to the paralyzed status of the Oracle the two engage in what is likely the best sex scene I've seen all year. Staying away from brutally hardcore sex the onscreen couple go for the more romantic encounter often kissing one another inbetween penetrations showing a more caring side of the porn genre. Brooklyn Lee gave a theatrical performance unlike any I've seen in porn. The sex between her, and Tommy didn't feel forced making it all the more believable.

Gracie Glam (The Huntress), and Kagney Linn Karter (Black Canary) also had their moments to shine. One of the more notable sex scenes on the dvd involves Gracie (The Huntress), and Tom Byron (Commissioner Gordon). After a heart to heart talk about Batman, and why he left "The Huntress" to fend for herself the unlikely pair engage in some amazing rooftop sex that begins with Gracie (The Huntress) giving the Commissioner a blowjob. Following that the odd couple go all out in true porn fashion fucking all over the rooftop. It's definitely a scene that comic book fans will enjoy.

Black Canary (Kagney Linn Karter) also had her turn with a famous fictitious comic book superhero. After seeking "The Green Arrow" for advice on whether, or not she should abandon her friends to their own fate she takes the time to enjoy some naughty sex with her old friend. For the most part this unlikely pair enjoy some doggystyle around the hay bail target that "The Green Arrow" was practicing at before he got interrupted. Added to the lacking mix of sexual position changes was some very sexy cocksucking that would make a comic book geek have a nerdgasm. Overall it was a sex scene that will likely interest those who are a fan of DC Comics, and porn in general.

Following the excellent portrayal of superhero sex, and story was a lesbian threesome that ended the film on a good note. As you can probably imagine the "Birds of Prey" looked super hot as they engaged in an all out threesome on one of the rooftops of Gotham. The Oracle (Brooklyn Lee) was in her wheelchair as The Huntress (Gracie Glam) began kissing her on the lips. Soon after the Black Canary (Kagney Linn Karter) joined in as the duo stripped their leader bare while she sat in her wheelchair enjoying the whole ordeal. While I'm not a true fan of lesbian sex I could not help, but enjoy the sexy ladies who were involved.

Even with all the impressive sex scenes in the film there were also some bad ones. As you've likely figured out by now I haven't mentioned the supervillains, or the female performers who took on their roles yet. There's a reason behind this, and that is simply that the sex scenes involving them were not really that good. Like the "Birds of Prey" the terrorizing threesome of supervillains had their own rendition of a lesbian sex scene. All I can say is that It looked horrible, and the female performers involved weren't all that sexy to me. With that being said though there was a threesome involving Dr. Harleen Quinzel (Chanel Preston), Alyce Sinner (Alexis Texas), and a random doctor character that wasn't that bad even though it seemed out of place.

CONCLUSION

In my career as an adult dvd reviewer I've reviewed a handful of parodies including "This Ain't Conan the Barbarian XXX", and "The Twilight Zone". This parody actually ranks lower compared to those. I do realize that this is a porn parody, but why can't a director include a well acted script with the sexual presentations? Getting beyond that point though ... This parody had some of the worst acting imaginable, and some of the least impressive villains that could have been chosen. When I think of a superhero porn parody I think of epic battles (or fucking in this case) that involve the more well known characters. I honestly do not see anyone being able to relate to the villains in this film. Sure the superheroes were awesome in their own way, but the villains were much less so.

While it did aggravate me a bit to see such lackluster acting, performances, and unimpressive bad girls I still found some noteworthy moments within the film. The "Brooklyn Lee (Oracle)" & "Tommy Gunn" sex scene was definitely awe-inspiring. It was an ideal example of how a proper porn parody sex scene should play out. I think Brooklyn Lee honestly deserves some awards for the scene. Aside from that I also thought Gracie Glam (The Huntress) & Tom Byron's (Commissioner Gordon) sex scene was quite the amazing encounter. Seeing Commissioner Gordon shoot his seed all over The Huntress' face was definitely something I won't soon forget. I myself had never fathomed such an encounter before watching this film. Even with me being a comic book collector, and porn fanatic such a thing had never crossed my mind. It's definitely some eye candy for all the adult geeks out there.

If there's any saving grace for this film it would be that scene. Considering all the content, and added bonuses that you get with this set I think it's at least worth renting if you can find it for rent. As for the $50 price tag I'm just not seeing it. I've seen better porn parodies than this. On the other hand if you like collecting steelbooks this set does come with a metal case. That is up to you though.
