My Wife is a Swinger (DORCEL)

GENRE: Wives, Milfs, Threesomes, European, French

DIRECTOR: Gazzman

STUDIO/PRODUCER: Marc Dorcel

MSRP: 34.99 (EURO) / $39.07 (US)

DATE OF PRODUCTION: 8/4/2015

LENGTH: 1 hr 40 mins

AUDIO/VIDEO: Compared to other Dorcel feature presentations this is a truly bare bones version of said productions. While it includes the usual visual quality with the HD presentation, and accompanying widescreen ratio it fails to make the main menu inviting, or full of the extras that hardcore Dorcel fans expect. There is not BTS (behind-the-scenes) "Making of" feature to access, and as usual the main menu is crammed tightly together with sloppy audio, and subtitle options up front and center. It screams of budget crunch even with the superb video editing in place throughout the film. In the way of audio presentation I found the voice-over narrative to be too heavily accented, and quite annoying at times. It wasn't like other film's narratives in which the female voice actor was well spoken, and clear with the plot delivery. Thankfully though the provided spoken English, and the accompanying erotic soundtrack wasn't too bad.

Parisian Pleasure Seekers (DORCEL)

GENRE: Group Sex, Threesomes, Orgies, European, French

DIRECTORS: Pascal Lucas & Herve Bodilis

STUDIO/PRODUCER: Marc Dorcel

MSRP: 34.99 (EURO) / $38.47 (US)

DATE OF PRODUCTION: 2016

LENGTH: 1 hr 30 mins. + Making Of

AUDIO/VIDEO: Without rehashing the usual "Dorcel Quality" mention, which is mostly present here I want to focus on some issues that I noticed. For one thing the editing in this film was conflicting. It was definitely in-tune with a project done by two men with two different visions. At times the story that was being told through actions, and reactions would change focus in a manner that was not common with other parts of the film. It felt like one of Herve's masquerade orgy films at times, and at other times it felt like a narrative modern-day tale that would have been told by a director with a more thought out plot.

In the way of plot delivery there were some instances where added onscreen text was sloppy, and even an early point where the editor tried to do the whole PC comment displayed on the screen thing. The flashbacks at the end which were done up in a bluish-grey also felt very much out of place as nowhere else in the entire film was that effect used. Not only that, but the way the flashbacks were edited in made that part of the film seem less professional. Visually the film also had a true-to-life appearance to it. The performers didn't look as physically flawless as they usually do, and had a sort of dirty look about them. You could see the reflection of oil/sweat on one of the girl's bodies, and even imperfections that you usually don't notice with the proper lighting. As critical as that assessment sounds it's the truth, and even more so on an HDTV.

Marc Dorcel 2016 Desktop Calendar

First off I'd like to apologize to Dorcel, and my readers for getting this post out there late. I am very sorry for the delay, and sincerely so. I know time is of the essence, and my delay kind of hurt business. The only thing I can offer in the wake of this mistake is a proper showing off of the calendar, and some pricing info for those of you who have yet to get one ...

As it stands the Marc Dorcel desktop calendar is three months into 2016 with Valentina Nappi representing March, or 'Mars' in the French tongue. What a beauty she is! The calendar, as it were is currently marked down to 6.49 EUROs, and is still a Dorcel Store exclusive. If you don't mind importing said calendar, and going through the custom's shipping it's a nice deal at the current asking price ($7.05 US) even abroad. Normally, at launch these calendars would set you back 12.99 (EURO) which is the going price for a calendar of any sort these days. Even at that former price I think the quality is good enough to fork over that kind of money for one, from day one.

Before I share some snapped photos of the calendar I'd like to take the time to thank Marc Dorcel for the signed calendar, and continued support. It means a lot to me. Working with Dorcel on getting these reviews out to you guys these past few years has been a privilege, and an honor. Ever since my first Dorcel dvd review I've thought highly of the studio. They excel in quality, and offerings. Many thanks to them, their directors, and their staff for producing such sexy content for the world. Here's to hoping 2016 brings even more sexy feature films from Dorcel!
