An Interview with Adult Film Star "India Summer"

It has been a long time coming folks, but the interview finally arrived in proper format at my email doorstep. Both me, and India have been having some issues coordinating the interview, but in the end we managed to work things out. I appreciate her willingness to participate more than she'll ever know. In the following interview, as with previous interviews you'll be privileged to some insight on India Summer's porn preferences, her career, her favorite things, and some guidance for those of you looking to make it big in the adult film industry. While there are only 10, or 11 vague questions amongst the lot Miss India Summer does good to answer each, and every question thoroughly. I hope you enjoy reading the interview as much as I did. India Summer is one of the more talented female performers in the industry, and she's a very pleasant person to chat with as well.

An Interview With Adult Performer India Summer

1) (Brad XxX) "I'm gonna hit you with a fairly vague question to begin with. Feel free to give an in-depth, or brief answer. Please tell us about your origins, your motivation to get into the industry, and such ..."

     

I grew up in a rural suburb of Des Moines in Iowa.  I lived a very normal, boring life.  I co-managed a hippie store while attending college and I received a BA in Education in 1997, which I determined was not to be my chosen path.  I worked in Finance for 6 years while living and experimenting with an open relationship and lifestyle with my partner.  Partners and people would mention I should model or do “porn” and finally I decided to try to make the leap into the adult video world.  I felt like it would be something fun and adventurous and after a handful of movies I found that I truly enjoyed it.  

2) (Brad XxX)  "As an adult performer what do you like most about your work?"

As an adult performer I truly enjoy the variety of work I am able to experience from day to day.  From Gonzo scenes to Features to BDSM.... They all fill a different aspect for me and allow me to grow in ways I never imagined.  I enjoy attempting to act and do dialog in features.  I also like just showing up to a gonzo scene, and without much set-up, getting right down to business.  I also found that I enjoy being pushed to my maximum limits within the BDSM realm.    

3) (Brad XxX) "What genre/s of porn do you feel most comfortable with?"

Just about any of the standard faire you see in adult performance I am “comfortable” with and several things that aren’t on the usual menu. From vanilla B/G or G/G to BDSM to Hypno to Group or GB, I can feel comfortable in any number of extremes depending on the people I’m working with and for, but the most comfortable is probably being dominated by a talented high intensity man or woman. 

4) (Brad XxX) "As a performer for the industry do you have some advice that you could share with the people who are considering such a career?"

My advice to people who are considering this career would be to first really consider how it will affect your life in the long run.  Consider how you will be judged by the outside world and how it will affect your ability to do other things later in life.  Another piece of advice would be to never do anything you are not comfortable with.  You must be able to be clear about your boundaries from the get go, while at the same time hopefully wanting to push yourself a little in order to grow. Can you be or get in the mood for a performance when you aren’t in the mood? Can you do it day after day, week after week?  Can you perform with someone you don’t personally find attractive?  

5) (Brad XxX) "As a man of the industry myself I know that not all of a performers' life revolves around porn. What are some of the hobbies, and fun things that you enjoy doing in your spare time?"

In the very little free time that I have, I am an avid hiker and outdoors girl.  I also love swimming and have been doing it all my life.  I like to curl up with a good book and spend quiet time with my family.  I also really enjoy cooking/baking.  I try to go scuba diving at least a couple of times a year.  I follow sports and I love going to clubs and concerts to see bands.

6) (Brad XxX) "On Twitter I see you tweet a lot of inspirational quotes. Do you have a favorite one that you'd like to share here?"

“And if you listen very hard, the tune will come to you at last, when all are one and one is all, to be a rock and not to roll.  Does anybody remember laughter?”  

7) (Brad XxX) "I think I'm going to dare to get a little personal for my readers' sake. What is your favorite sex position?"

I would have to say that at this moment my favorite position is missionary.  In this position I am able to look my partner in the eye while also being free to pleasure myself, which makes it much easier for me to cum.    

8) (Brad XxX) "I'm aware that you star in a lot of straight sex oriented films. What do you prefer when it comes to cumshot finishes, the face, the belly, the bum, or the pelvic region?"

Although we do quite a bit of facials in our movies, I really enjoy the intensity of a pop shot wherever it may land.  If I am in doggie, I love feeling a hot load splashed across my ass and back.  If I am in missionary, I like to watch my partner pull out and blast his load either directly in my bush or spray it all over my sweaty body.
