AUDIO/VIDEO: Oddly this dvd is about as bare bones as it gets. The main menu which usually houses more options only includes a "Film", "Trailers", and hands on Audio adjustment feature. You can actually tweak the narrative voice-overs, and subtitles directly from the main menu screen without going into sub-menus. It looked rather crude in structure, but functioned as it should. The really inviting thing about this film is it's signature Dorcel quality that holds true throughout it's nearly two hour length. There's plenty of visual eye candy in the form of extravagant European locales, and the theme of the boarding school is kept true through attire, and props. On a standard tube television the dvd still maintains an almost HD format while on an actual HDTV it is scaled up significantly. The scenes are widescreen as usual, but only slightly so. People playing the film on an HDTV should find that it can adjust to a more full screen ratio.
