Hello ladies, and gentlemen! It has been a while, and for that I humbly apologize. I actually got the latest batch of review material at the end of last week, but took the weekend off as I usually do. This week, and in the coming weeks I have some new stuff to type about including two new Dorcel dvds, the latest Dorcel Mag, and the insignia mouse pad which I'm going to discuss right now. I figured it would be neat to change things up, and offer a product review outside of the usual film, and magazine articles. While it's not going to be anything grand in scale (we are talking about a mouse pad here) it will give you an idea about what Marc has to offer on his French online store. AUDIO/VIDEO: This film, like most other Marc Dorcel features is nearly Blu-ray in quality. The scenes, and menus are all very vivid, and clear. The performers, and all their unsightly flaws can be seen in utmost clarity. As far as the photography goes the cameraman, and editor did good to capture the perfect lighting, and shading when need be. The party scene also showcased a more artistic side with it's unnatural lighting, and special effects. The sound was also done well, and included a narrative voice-over that was complimentary to the main character. There was even some modern music thrown in for added effect. For those of you curious about subtitles, and dubs the dvd does have in place some English, and alternative options should you not be of an English, or French speaking country. French, of course is the native language of the film though. One thing I really like about these narrative style films is that being voiced in a language other than French does not distort the plot, or performer interactions like some ungodly Godzilla film since none of the performers really talk.

My PRIVATE 50th Anniversary Calendar Prize ...

First off I want to apologize for the delay in reviews. I do have a couple of more Dorcel dvds to review for you ladies, and gentlemen. The only thing that currently keeps me from posting said reviews is some gaming review work that requires my immediate attention. Once I get those two things knocked out I'll be able to provide the adult reviews for you. As far as this posting goes I thought I'd share with you a recent prize I won from PurePlay Media, and PRIVATE. It is a 2015 50th anniversary calendar of the PRIVATE studio. It features large poster sized photographic images of PRIVATE's leading ladies starting from it's humble beginnings to it's more recent debuts. I think @pureplaymedia of Twitter is still giving some away, so you might get as lucky as I did if you follow them, and pay attention. It is a luck of the draw type of deal, but it's better to give it a try than not.
