My PRIVATE 50th Anniversary Calendar Prize ...

First off I want to apologize for the delay in reviews. I do have a couple of more Dorcel dvds to review for you ladies, and gentlemen. The only thing that currently keeps me from posting said reviews is some gaming review work that requires my immediate attention. Once I get those two things knocked out I'll be able to provide the adult reviews for you. As far as this posting goes I thought I'd share with you a recent prize I won from PurePlay Media, and PRIVATE. It is a 2015 50th anniversary calendar of the PRIVATE studio. It features large poster sized photographic images of PRIVATE's leading ladies starting from it's humble beginnings to it's more recent debuts. I think @pureplaymedia of Twitter is still giving some away, so you might get as lucky as I did if you follow them, and pay attention. It is a luck of the draw type of deal, but it's better to give it a try than not.

AUDIO/VIDEO: I was actually surprised at the mixed quality of this presentation. It featured a somewhat crude editing at some points with evident film splicing, and sub par environmental audio. There were even some lighting issues during certain parts with a sort of over-exposure present. Unlike most Dorcel feature films it also lacked any English voice-overs, or subtitles of any kind. Once I plugged in the dvd, and watched past the usual Dorcel intro theme the film immediately began without going to the menu as well. Other than those hit & miss issues the quality was good.

AUDIO/VIDEO: This time around I decided to watch the dvd on my HDTV, and I'm somewhat glad that I did. The audio, while studio quality at early parts of the film did well for itself overall. The music was kept relevant for each scene with modern erotic music setting the pace for the encounters that were to unfold. The visuals on the other hand were even better in HD, and were damn near Blu-ray in quality. Skin details could be seen easily including some unsightly ones. The lighting, and editing was also nicely done. Viewing the film I actually felt as if the Claire, and the passengers were boarding, and taking off in the private jet at that respective part. The overhead sweep of the private airfield before flight also helped to make the film's theme more genuine. Even the Ibiza island encounters helped seal the deal location-wise. The more artistic camera shots that Herve went for including the from outside view of Claire, and Mike Angelo fucking just behind the glass door helped the film further be that signature Dorcel quality that I'm always looking for. It was a quality presentation for sure.
