AUDIO/VIDEO: Like the previous few dvd releases this Dorcel feature houses a minimized menu with cramped audio options for the viewers' narrative understanding, and ease of access. Of course you can select from the usual vocals including English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and a few others as well as less common subtitles like Portuguese for viewers from other countries. The visuals in the film remain the top notch HD quality that you'd expect from Dorcel, and the studio's contributing directors. The screen ratio as expected is a 16:9 widescreen format that will easily pan out to full screen on an HDTV. Everything shown in the film is vivid, and clear to a point that all bodily imperfections captured on camera can be seen easily. As far as the audio goes it can be of kind of "On Set" at times, and not professionally edited, but at other times it will have that theatrical ambiance about it. The first orgy scene, for example is overshadowed by echoes of the large room that the performers are engaging in sex in. Other scenes like the lesbian encounter, or the honeymoon sex scene on the other hand are more professionally edited though, sound-wise. As a whole the film isn't all that bad in presentation, but isn't perfect at the same time.

Franck Vicomte's orgy vision is a two-fold erotic adventure that incorporates both the libertine lifestyle, and open relationships inside of marriage. In the narrative portion of the story, which begins almost immediately we are introduced to the shy, and single 'Manon Martin' who plays the lead role of a character of the same name. Manon is a respectable, and well-to-do individual who finds herself climbing the corporate ladder via her job within an undisclosed business. Through work she meets a man who eventually opens her up to a sexually driven lifestyle that she would have never engaged in otherwise, but like the foreshadowing of the tale at hand that doesn't happen until later on. After being invited to a business party through the fellow co-worker named Alex, and joining him at the designated location Manon discovers that his intentions weren't exactly of the purest nature. The seemingly innocent business party quickly turns into an all out orgy between male, and female co-workers right before Manon's eyes. It is this startling, and somewhat awkward revelation that has Manon heading for the door, and leaving poor Alex alone.

Regardless of Manon's absence the initial orgy scene plays out in full as three men, and three very attractive women have a go at each other with sexual intentions in mind. There's tons of cock sucking compliments of the ladies, and even some sharing between the lot of them. While one would expect more penetrations in such an event the director focuses only slightly on the details of the occasion keeping the action limited, and constantly on the move. The penetrations that do happen are mainly in the reverse cowgirl position as well as doggystyle. As far as scene highlights go there are a few moments worth mentioning. For instance the lined up blow bang where the guys are in a row with their backs against an island counter while the girls are on their knees before each of them sucking their erections is a very sexy and artistically captured instance that definitely sets the tone for what is to come. Even the ending cumshots, some of which were shared between the girls seals the first orgy scene on a good note.

Past the tantalizing orgy preview Manon goes through a quick life courtship between her, and the previously mentioned Alex. Alex tries his best to impress Manon with roses, and gifts on a daily basis, but she ignores his advances at first. It isn't until days, and possibly even months of this romantic routine have passed that Manon finally gives in, and begins dating the younger gentleman due to his kind advances. While Manon boasts of the perfect relationship through the vocal narrative not much is shown of the actual dating, and like everything else in the film's storyline things are sped up significantly. Eventually, after a few months of courting the couple that is Manon, and Alex tie the knot, and become married in a beautiful, but limited onscreen ceremony.

After the wedding the happy couple does the proper thing, and gets away from the crowd for the special intimate moment brides, and grooms all dream of. In their luxurious honeymoon suite that is filled with roses, and rose petals Alex gently, and slowly takes Manon's virginity in a very realistic, and true to life manner. They take things super slow with the removal of clothes, intimate kissing, slow foreplay, and the penetrations which Manon plays off as being slightly painful. There's nothing in the way of hardcore sex, and the penetrations are kept as innocent as the relationship reflects. At first the couple engage in some spooning on their bed of roses, and move ever so carefully into two other vaginal penetrations that include an improvised doggystyle, and some offset missionary. The encounter is more romantic than the purely sexual nature of most porn situations, and both performers hold true to their parts as newlyweds though Alex does at times seem to know more about sex than Manon does. I guess it's fitting in a way considering prior circumstances.

When the scene opens up again with it's embedded narrative Manon discloses that they are meeting after sex at a coffee shop that they often times frequent. Upon entering the establishment the two lovers spot a gorgeous female patron sitting alone at a table. Manon jokes about that being the type of girl she'd have lesbian sex with if she were to ever entertain the idea. To her surprise Manon's hubby boldly confronts the young lady, and invites her over for a cup of coffee. Through shared conversation the unlikely trio decides to find a hotel, and entertain their fantasies therein. Upon arriving at the hotel Manon's jealous concerns are put to ease as her husband informs her that he only wishes to watch, and not participate like she had feared. He pours himself, and the two lovely ladies a tall glass of champagne, and lets them get acquainted on the hotel bed.

Following that sexual awakening Manon finally braves the initial orgy proposal that her husband had unknowingly lured her into before. The wedded couple dress up regally in the comfort of home anxious to join the party that they had missed out on so long ago. Upon arrival Manon discloses through narrative that she's ready to embrace the libertine lifestyle, and that she's more anxious to do so than she ever was. She walks into the occupied building where the orgy is to take place exuding confidence in her sexuality, and her willingness to fully enjoy her open-ended marriage. At first there's a lot of idle party chat like one might expect as well as plenty of anxious glances from couples waiting for someone to start the show. Unfortunately as brave as Manon boasted that she was she does not start things off, but does join in with her willing husband at second place. The orgy is slow to get into full swing, but once it does the music playing in the film's soundtrack increases in intensity as all of the couples began to do their thing. In total there are five men, and four women participating willingly in the sexual event. As one might expect there is a lot of sharing, and intermingling going on between participating couples, and even Manon is able to sample other women, and men. The ending orgy definitely seals the film on a proper note, and includes tons of penetrations as well as several instances of captured cock sucking. The highlights of the scene, for me include Manon being sandwiched between men, and their cocks as well as the moment when she gets a DP from strangers with her husband standing nearby. When every man reaches their eruption point they surround the kneeling Manon, and come all over her breasts. After the men finish with her Manon's husband steps in, and lets Manon suck his cock until he come in her open mouth. EXTRAS

MAKING OF: This making of, which I'm more than glad to see is handled by a separate studio than Dorcel. It doesn't play out like the older "Making Of" documentaries, but instead captures the behind-the-scenes scene in a more complete nature without being directed by the film's director. There's lots of uncut, and uncensored footage of each scene as well as input from the main stars of the film. It does enlighten the viewer on the goings on of the film's making, and helps you to better appreciate the film making process that goes into such a venture.

TRAILERS: This set of trailers stays true to the newer Dorcel trailer setup in that it plays out automatically, and with all the identifying information that one would need to understand which film it is that they are previewing. It's a good way to learn about something you may not have known about from the Dorcel dvd/film library.

CONCLUSION

I do love Dorcel Studio's orgy films! While they are usually all over the place with action, and are straight out fuck parties I think in this instance the given story narrative really helps to solidify the director's vision on a more artistic level. Manon, herself really lives up to her role as a newlywed, and a wife who is out to sample the more forbidden fruits of her sexual relationship. She commands the libertine lifestyle that she projects, and ends up being the true star of the film in doing so. I love her onscreen graduation from being shy, and single to being married, and open. Admittedly though there are some timeline events I wish hadn't been sped up so much. I feel there could have been more narrative plot points even if it meant the sacrificing of the lesbian encounter. Storytelling in a Dorcel film is one of my favorite things about the studio, and any director who can balance that out masterfully is a genius in my mind's eye. I'm not implying that Franck Vicomte fell short with his narrative driven series of events, but I feel the story was rushed a bit for the sake of sex. In the end this film is going to get a "Highly Recommended!!!" rating from yours truly. It would have gotten a "Must Have!!!" score, but the rushed timeline of events had me feeling a wee bit disappointed. Just a tiny bit.
