AUDIO/VIDEO: The audio in "My Scary Movix" is very clear. I'm not sure if they used a digital quality soundtrack or not though since I could find no specifications on those details. There were also several different language options including English voice overs as with all Marc Dorcel productions. I also think that the English track was excellent in this particular DVD production. The video was presented in a widescreen ratio. The overall picture quality did seem a bit dated at certain parts/scenes. I noticed some grainy scenes that made the DVD look of poor quality at times, but other times the quality seemed to be HD (High Definition). Once again I cannot confirm the specs of the visual quality though.

 SYNOPSIS

I found "My Scary Movix" to be more of a feature film than a spoof, or parody. It has a serious plot with several full length sex scenes thrown in the mix. The plot itself is somewhat twisted, and misleading in nature. It does stick to the scary movie plot though. My Scary Movix is a feature film about a road trip involving four friends (Aline, Sophie, Phil, Tony) from France, and a British female companion (Shirley) that tags along for the ride. After leaving France (a location near the Eiffel Tower) the team of five friends head off for a vacation somewhere else in Europe. Along the way the driver (Tony) gets lost in the middle of nowhere, and eventually sets out with his horny friend Phil to find help with getting their oddly stranded RV fixed. During their ordeal the two guys end up finding a family with four amazingly attractive sisters. From that point on things seem to become even more strange as an Axe wielding zombie chases two of the girls through the nearby woods. As the story further unfolds the four initial friends become even more paranoid of their situation, and seek to find a way out before things become worse. The movie/porno has a few twists, and turns as it is told through sexual encounters and horrifying circumstances. In the end "My Scary Movix" is a lustful story of payback, and horror that isn't at all what it seems.

The sex in this sexually charged horror story is extremely hardcore in nature, and quite enjoyable to watch. The DVD actually starts off with a sex scene almost immediately after the characters/performers are introduced. As the five friends (who are played by French performers) head down the road in the RV two of the performers engaged in some heated sex, banging each other as they go down the highway. There are several other sex scenes as the DVD plays on, but only a handful are really noteworthy. Among those noteworthy performances there are some one-on-one sessions, a lesbian orgy, a threesome, and a straight sex orgy. My favorite scenes would definitely have to be the orgy between Phil, Tony, and the four sisters. They engaged in various sex positions (cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, doggystyle ...) in that particular scene including some anal sex, and double penetrations. I also enjoyed the one-on-one, and threesome scenes that involved the female performer who played the role of Aline. The female performer who played that role was very attractive, and had that mysterious dark haired quality about her. Overall though I found the sex within this DVD to be quite impressive. In fact none of the sex was dull.

CONCLUSION: I actually found "My Scary Movix" to be interesting. The plot wasn't really scary at all, but there was one part that included with some shockingly gory corpses/dummies. The fact that they included this scary bit did impress me just for a brief moment. It's not often that you'll find such horror related props in a porn video. Aside from the plot surprises I also found the performers to be very interesting. Their acting was movie quality, and porn quality at the same time. I had actually set the audio language to "English" during my viewing of "My Scary Movix" so I could understand it better. It didn't take away from the acting at all. The sex within this DVD was very enjoyable to watch. The director offered a wide variety of sexual scenarios, and covered about everything (positions ...) there is to cover when it comes to a porn shoot. I honestly think the combination of sex, and story went quite well together in this DVD. It was produced in a very professional manner with all of the bells & whistles (camera angles, screen filters, voyeuristic camera angles, eerie music) of a horror movie. I would definitely say that this DVD is worth checking out if you're into horror movies, and porn as I am.
