It's more along the lines of what an Indie film would offer than anything else. The interviews are all captured well enough, but the angles used in the actual hardcore sex scenes are a little less than professional. The color also seems to be a little dated throughout. As far as screen size goes the editor decided to go with the usual widescreen format. Like any other porn film I've reviewed the screen size is not an issue though. The sound on the other hand was impressive enough. You could hear the girls well as they spoke during their interviews, and even when they were having their little outbursts during sex.

AUDIO/VIDEO: As I watched this film I began to realize that at times it featured a more retro based color theme than most modern-day porn films. Even for a recent Marc Dorcel film it looked oddly dated during some of the scenes. Thankfully not all of the film looked that way though. Ariel's lesbian encounter for example looked absolutely stunning with it's expertly captured outdoors lighting. The fact that Herve was able to capture the transitioning sun in the background as Ariel, and Cayenne lay together on the dock made things seem more fantasy-like than they actually were. It was truly one of the film's more "Magical" moments. In the way of visuals the film definitely had it's shining points. Having the professionally added/selected camera angles also helped to further improve upon the nearly flawless viewing experience that was offered. As far as audio goes it was clear, crisp, and excellent even for the old tube television I chose to play it on. Sometimes as a film journalist I like to stray away from my HDTV experience, and watch my dvds in an oldschool manner. Dorcel's films always seem to look, and sound brilliant no matter what TV I choose to view them on, and Herve Bodilis's latest contribution to the "Russian Institute" series is no exception.
